Research suppliers who are well trained and experienced in the art and science of qualitative and quantitative research are more likely to give you what you need, namely: A) They determine, given your goals, the best methodology (not just what they do), B) They design the study such that sampling or recruiting is administered appropriately, C) They construct the questionnaire or discussion guide in ways that insure that objectives are adequately addressed, and D) They deliver actionable reporting that enables the client to realize maximum value from the research engagement. Stat One Research has a proven history of service in all of the above for 15 years and counting.
Built on Years of Hard Work and Dedication to Our Clients
Stat One Research was launched in 1992. As an MBA student at Georgia State University, Tom Beggs founded Stat One Research with a single publisher client - New South Publishing. Three years later, with a phone room and a handful of contractors, Tom landed his first Fortune 500 client, AT&T. This was covered in a full page spread in The Atlanta Business Chronicle. At the time, Tom thought that was a pretty big deal (his family agreed).
Fast forward 10 years and 100+ studies later... and Tom has landed a multitude of Fortune 500 clients, not to mention repeat business from the largest global research companies, ad agencies, and public relations firms. In 2004, Tom was approached by one of his clients, Turner Broadcasting, regarding a position in the New Products Research Group. Working closely with over a dozen vendors and serving internal client teams at Turner, Tom was able to examine a wide range of research approaches and tools from the standpoint of what was most and least useful in focus groups, ethnographic research, usability testing, online and intercept studies. After three years of learning and doing great things at Turner, Tom came back to Stat One Research with valuable client side experience that has enabled Tom to better serve his own clients.
